WHAT IS THE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM?
Each year Middle Management Association may
award up to six (6) scholarships of $1,500 each to MMA members and/or
dependent children of MMA members toward the attainment of a degree,
certificate, or work-related training from an accredited institution.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
Eligible applicants are those who are
MMA members in good standing as of the date of application, and/or
their dependent children*, who are or will be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree, certificate training program, or work-related training.
MEMBERS OF THE SCREENING COMMITTEE AND THEIR DEPENDENT
CHILDREN ARE EXCLUDED FROM CONSIDERATION.
HOW TO APPLY!
Request an official application form
from the MMA office or print a copy from the MMA website. Submit
the application between April 15 and June 15
of each year.
APPLICATIONS RECEIVED IN THE MMA OFFICE AFTER
JUNE 15 WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
The applicant is required to submit a personal statement on why he/she is requesting this scholarship, including his/her educational goals.
CONDITIONS ONCE ACCEPTED:
Scholarship recipients must provide verification
of course completion with at least a "C" average grade
from a post-high school accredited training facility before scholarship
money is paid. Money will be paid after each quarter or semester
is completed.
MMA members must remain a member of good standing
during the course curriculum. Scholarships are not renewable but
scholarship recipients may reapply each year. The year should be
defined as the start of the fall session through the end of the
summer session.
