MMA Executive Director Mike Bona and MMA Attorney Ron Rollins met with the Department of Employee Relations representatives Sandi Blaeser, Liz Koncker, and Tony Brown to discuss salary inequities created by the MNA contract settlement. MMA was presented an offer in the form of a draft Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
Now MMA will review the salary change proposals, the effective dates and the entire MOU in preparation for a final meeting which has not yet been scheduled.
It is MMA's hope that this next meeting will be held in early January and that all of the issues can be resolved at that meeting.
