As many of you already are aware, the Minnesota Nurses Association (MNA) contract has been ratified and placed into effect. The departments are processing the negotiated salary increases for members of the MNA bargaining unit.
The Department of Employee Relations has advised Middle Management Association (MMA) that they (DOER) will not be ready to discuss any resultant salary inequities for at least two weeks. While we are aware of our members' interest and concern on this important issue, MMA is not in a position to take any action at this time. Your patience is appreciated.
MMA will provide another update as soon as we have more information about the affected job classifications and the salary adjustments to be made.
