Looking for a different job with the State of Minnesota? All you
need is a resume. The Department of Employee Relations (DOER)
has introduced a new state employment hiring process that can
help you to quickly and easily create your own professional resume
online; and then allows you to submit that resume online for state
agency employers to consider. Once you've submitted your resume,
you can search through a wide range of online job postings and
apply online for the positions that interest you.
To get started, use any personal computer equipped
with a web browser (Microsoft Explorer 6.0 or Netscape 6.0 work
best) to visit the DOER Home Page, at www.doer.state.mn.us
. Then click on "My State Job Search". You'll be guided
through the process of opening a free Job Search Account, and
through the simple steps toward creating an online resume using
the Resume Builder tool. After that, you can begin your online
job search by clicking "Search for State Jobs".
For more details about how to find state jobs,
create your resume and submit applications using the state's new
hiring process, call the State Job Information Line at 651-296-2616
(Metro Area), or 1-800-657-3974 (Greater Minnesota).
