Management Association supervisors approved the 2007-2009 tentative
agreement with the State of Minnesota with 1263 members voting “yes” and
68 supervisors voting “no”. This represents an
approval rating of approximately 95 percent of those voting.
Nearly 60 percent of MMA members voted in the ratification
election. The next step is to sign the agreement. This is scheduled
for December 14, 2007. The agreement will then be transmitted
to the Legislative Sub-Committee for action on December 17,
2007. The contract will be effective on the date the Legislative
Sub-Committee approves it, except for those provisions which
are retroactive.
