information on the tentative agreement, including a letter
to the member, a summary of the agreement, a ballot, and a
schedule of ratification meetings is currently at the printer.
This information will be mailed to members on Tuesday, November
13. The ratification meetings will be held throughout the state
from November 26 through November 30. Questions concerning
the tentative agreement may be directed to the MMA staff, or
supervisors may attend one of the ratification meetings. The

The ballots will be counted by the elections committee on December
4. If the membership ratifies this tentative agreement, the
agreement will be presented to the Legislative Sub-Committee
on Employee Relations. The agreement will be effective on the
date it is approved by the Legislative Committee except where
specific provisions provide for an earlier date.
