Middle Management Association (MMA) is an independent
non-affiliated public employee union, which represents State of
Minnesota supervisors. MMA originated at the state level because
supervisors felt the need to be represented. Despite loyalty to
their employer, which continues today, when given a chance in 1980,
state supervisors voted overwhelmingly for representation by an
independent association, MMA.
